Farmer's Market Update 1 of 2: The Farmers' Market benefits WIC participants receive each year are different this year. This year, eligible participants will receive their farmers' market benefits electronically either on a debit card that will be mailed to them, or an app. Eligible families without an email address on file will have a card mailed out to their address on file, and those with an email address on file have been sent an email with instructions on how to download the app, and set up their account. If you have concerns about accessing your farmers' market benefits you can call 1-214-256-3083. This new system rolled out this week, so if you are expecting a card to be mailed, you will likely receive the card soon. If you aren't sure if you will have a card mailed, or have the app instructions emailed, call your local WIC office to see if you have an email address on file.
