Newfound Every Child Is Ours

Newfound Every Child Is Ours Newfound Every Child Is Ours is a local non-profit. We supply food to children in the Newfound Regional School District. No child should be left hungry.

Newfound Every Child is Ours is nonprofit which has a goal of providing children in need with food. Local schools can adopt this national program to benefit their own, local community. Our chapter was adopted by the Newfound Regional schools to benefit the communities of Bristol, New Hampton, Alexandria, Hill, Danbury, Bridgewater, Hebron and Groton. There are hundreds of children in our community

who go home from school on Fridays and have little or no food over the weekend. During the week, these same children rely on the schools’ breakfast and lunch programs for meals. Our goal is to send these children home at the end of the school week with bags of healthy food to eat throughout the weekend. Local groups supporting Newfound Every Child Is Ours are: Tapply-Thompson Community Center and the Bristol Police Association.

Please consider stopping by our food drive to donate to Newfound Ecio. Since founded in 2020 we have sent home over 6700 bags to hungry kids in OUR Newfound Region School kids. At 10 food items per bag, that is over 67,000 individually pre-packaged snacks, fruit cups, pasta bags, bars, oatmeal packages, microwave popcorn and ready to heat soup cups.

A positive something is better than a negative nothing!

Program Update:

Newfound Every Child is Ours is still going strong! We've continued to provide weekend food bags to over 100 local students each week and plan to continue as long as we can and there is a need. Recently, Officer Steve Henry of the Bristol PD, with donations from LaValley Building Supply, built us some amazing storage shelves for this program!

We will continually accept donations for this program & appreciate any help you can give. More info on how and what to donate can be found here: https://ttccrec.org/2020/11/05/newfound-every-child-is-ours/

Thank you!
