Friends of Southwest Virginia MRC Since 2019, donations have directly supported hard-working MRC volunteers. Building that support, with your help, is our mission.

Providing meals, gifts, and training scholarships are just some of the ways donations are directed to our volunteers.

We have some upcoming events you may want to save the date for:

Friday-Sunday, Sept. 13-25 - Rapid Revive training at Rhythm and Roots
Saturday, Sept. 14, 1-5pm - RecoveryFest in Big Stone Gap, providing Rapid Revive training
Monday, Sept. 16, 5pm - CPR training with our volunteer Maureen Morris Thompson at the Marion library
Saturday, Sept. 28, 10am-3pm - Rabies Clinic in Grayson County, MRC will help with traffic control and registration
Saturday, Oct. 19, 10am-12pm - CPR training at Washington County Health Department with our volunteer Pandora Kiser
Saturday, Oct. 26, 10am-2pm - Drug Take Back throughout the region.
