Say hello movers and shakers of tomorrow. Every student had something to contribute through their lived experiences.

Climate Change is not a fad, buzz words, or business killer. It's a people, property and life killer if we stop caring when we need to fight harder.

Panel Discussion at San Francisco Premiere of "Critical Condition"
Executive Director Arieann Harrison of Marie Harrison Community Foundation took part in a panel discussion alongside health and environmental community advocates during the San Francisco premiere of Nova’s documentary 'Critical Condition' at San Francisco Ruth Williams Opera House . The film highlights the significant health disparities and poor health outcomes experienced in hospitals that serve underserved, environmentally overburdened communities. Areas such as Bayview Hunters Point, where residential neighborhoods are situated near industrial zones and shipyard contamination, and West Oakland, affected by the Port of Oakland and heavy truck traffic, are particularly impacted. These communities, along with other shoreline and inner-city neighborhoods, have faced redlining due to systemic racism and have been pushed up against major freeways.
