The Brinnon School Parent Teacher Organization was established sometime in the late 1960's, we are a non profit organization aimed at enhancing the educational lives of the Brinnon School students. Brinnon PTO invites you to join us to make a difference in education and for children to have positive, rewarding time learning. The PTO is one of the largest volunteer organizations in the world. The o

ver six million members in PTO range from parents, grandparents, and teachers to administrators, students, community leaders and senior citizens. We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them. Do you want to make a difference in your school, home and community? Do you wish you could have more say and involvement in what happens in your children’s school? We all know children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students and the community work together. PTO strives to bring these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children and families. Our PTO provides information and resources through newsletters, family programs, monthly meetings, and other communication channels. Our goals are to continue our family and student programs and look forward to new suggestions for topics or programs of interest that you would like PTO to sponsor. When you become a member, your support will bring us closer to accomplishing these goals. Parents, Grandparents, or any adult 18 years of age or over may be a member of our PTO. We have seven spots left open for summer school. If you have student that is in kindergarten through entering 7th grade in the fall, call the school to register for summer school and the YMCA summer program. First come first serve. Open to current Brinnon School District students first.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-Experience working with children ages 0 to 12
-Knowledge of child development
-Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations
-Ability to relate well and communicate effectively to a diverse group of individuals, in all circumstances
-Pass a comprehensive background screening
-Be 16 years of age or older
-Have current CPR and first-aid certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire
