Wow...where has the last week gone? Now that everyone has had a week to regroup from our shows with Toledo Collie-Club I would like to thank a number of people. First and foremost, I want to thank Connie Sutter for being our Show Secretary! This is a HUGE job and she does an excellent job! Next, Theresa Ballantyne for all your help with set up, to trophies and much more! Allison Cline and Jared Wadley for transporting our judges from Metro airport to Flint and back. Shirley Schaffer for being our ring steward extraordinary, Michelle Giles for keeping the kitchen running since we feed our exhibitors four plus meals over the course of the weekend. Tammie Priebe-Jacobs for all the raffle baskets which were absolutely wonderful!!! Also, to all the Greater Brighton Collie Club members who pitched in whether you brought food, helped clean up or were available during the weekend to help out.
I would also like to thank the members of TCC- Lorie Barnes, Lisa Pyman, Keileigh Kaye and Karen Yeager-Shaw for your help and partnership in these shows.
If I missed anyone, know that your help was definitely appreciated!
We have already started working on next year's shows, and hope that exhibitors will return in 2027, when we are planning a special trophy to be awarded during one of the Sunday shows!
