For students at Pleasant Hope Schools, mental health support is no longer a 20+ minute drive away. It's just down the hall. ❤️

Through our partnership with Pleasant Hope Schools, Good Samaritan is making mental health counseling more accessible to students who need it most.

Last fiscal year, 1,536 therapy sessions were provided to students in the Pleasant Hope School District, including 284 sessions at no cost to uninsured students!

Because of your support, these students are receiving the care they need to heal, grow, and rewrite their stories as the authors of their own futures.

We enjoyed a morning of collaboration with Care to Learn, United Way Ozarks Region, Community Partnership of the Ozarks, I Pour Life, Convoy of Hope, Crosslines Community Outreach, Victory Mission, The Child Advocacy Center, Inc., Good Dads, FosterAdopt Connect Springfield, and Community Foundation of the Ozarks! ❤️

Together, we had the opportunity to share with prospective legislators the important work our organizations are doing across the Ozarks, while also hearing updates from MoDOT Southwest Missouri, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and Missouri Department of Economic Development.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible!

At age 21, youth age out of foster care and step into a new chapter of independence. ❤️

As they take on full financial responsibility for housing, groceries, transportation, education, and more, Fostering Stability provides monthly financial gifts to help them navigate unexpected challenges, experience new opportunities, and build toward a brighter future.

And the impact is clear: During Fiscal Year 25–26, 100% of youth reported that Fostering Stability made them feel more optimistic about their future.

Because of your support, young adults are stepping into life after foster care with greater confidence—ready to rewrite their stories and become the authors of their own futures.

Good Samaritan’s Apartment Program gives youth ages 18–21 the opportunity to experience life in their first apartment while building the skills they need for independence—from budgeting and managing rent to securing employment, pursuing college, and saving for the future.

And they’re putting those skills into action! ❤️

During Fiscal Year 25–26, youth aging out of foster care in our Apartment Program had an average savings of $7,000!

Because of your support, our youth are gaining the tools and confidence to rewrite their stories and become the authors of their own futures.
