It Takes My Child to Raze a Village Page This Page is the Official Event Page run by The Canton of Wealdlake. Many of our activities are parent/child cooperative.

It Takes My Child to Raze a Village is an event allowing people of all ages to find their place in the Society for Creative Anachronism It Takes My Child to Raze a Village (ITMC) is, in a lot of ways, exactly like any other SCA event. It has lots of things going on at once including Archery, Thrown Weapons, Armored Combat, Fencing, A&S Classes, an A&S Bean Count, Merchants, a Lunch Tavern, and lot

s of fun. What makes ITMC different from other events is that every single activity going on is something in which children can fully participate. We also have more “Make & Take” activities than a typical event. Some things that set us apart are our Challenges, Whole-Group Games, Family-Friendly Teaching Court, and Ruin-Your-Dinner Ice Cream Social.
