DENNAE!!!! is force. One you’d never be able to stop. She went through an intense nub revision surgery this July. Powering through a lot of pain and prosthetic appointments, she made it back on snow in time for the first World Cup of the season in November!
Despite never having a proper fitting socket this season. The new leg set up has potential for huge strides to be made in her riding that she is already tapping into 🔥
She is one of the few above knee amputees on the circuit and currently is forced to compete up in a class for less impairing disabilities. Dennae consistently made the non-existent podium for the LL1 class this season! Way to go, it may be invisible but it does not go unnoticed 👀🥇
Dennae keeps a smile on her face through many tough times and is always there for her teammates. You are the heart of the team. We love you Dennaenae and are so excited to see where your hard work is taking you! 💙🏂🦾

We just wrapped up a killer World/continental Cup season and it’s time to spotlight the accomplishments of our Para Team Utah.
Aleks!! This Dude has been putting work in on the Para Circuit for years and he just had a break through season. Getting on Banked Slalom podiums in Austria and finishing it off with two wins in Steamboat 🥇🥇. Securing himself in the World Cup for Banked Slalom! A goal set and a goal demolished ✅
But that’s not what it’s about for this absolute Viking. Aleks’s love for snowboarding is loud whether he is screaming “I love snowboarding” at the top of his lungs or you can feel it through the power and finesse in his carves. Aleks we are proud of you and your passion shines through onto all of Team Utah! 👊🤘🔥🏂

The Para team has been working at it this summer preparing for a big World Cup season that will finish off with the 2026 Paralympics Games in Italy🦾😤🔥🏂
Here is an update from a couple of the athletes:johnst0n has been spending her time wisely - Mountain biking, training to summit one of Ecuador’s highest peaks for ROMP (Range of Motion Project), AND working at brewery in Hood River🍻🚴🥾🏔️

SBSEF - Team Utah freeriders, Kaito and Gage have done it again! Another set of podium finishes, this time at the Junior National. Kaito managed to lay down an amazing run in finals, winning the day, which moved him up from 6th to 2nd out of 10 competitors. Gage held down 3rd place in both qualifiers and finals, giving him 3rd out of 15 competitors. We will be back at Kirkwood in 5 weeks for Junior Championships!

SBSEF - Team Utah freeriders, Kaito and Gage have done it again! Another set of podium finishes, this time at the Junior National. Another great comp for freeriders Kaito and Gage! At the Palisades National Junior freeride competition, Kaito placed 3rd and Gage placed 5th in some of the largest fields we have ever seen in freeride snowboarding. These two are on a roll!

SBSEF - Team Utah Snowboarding started off the season strong with freeriders, Kaito and Gage, each taking home second place for their divisions. Unfortunately, due to insane weather, finals were canceled and many of the athletes went home before awards, including Kaito. The lesson is, when at Grand Targhee, go for gold in qualifiers because you probably won't get a Finals run!
