Our hearts are full after celebrating the very first Beyond the Clover livestock show at the Adams County Fair!
Beyond the Clover was created to provide youth of differing abilities with an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where they could experience the excitement of showing livestock alongside dedicated 4-H teen mentors. This year, seven mentor-mentee teams demonstrated the power of 4-H Positive Youth Development by growing in communication, responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and confidence.
On the day of the event, each team entered the arena side by side, demonstrating not only their knowledge of goat showmanship but also the trust, teamwork, and friendships they had developed throughout the program.
Thank you to our amazing 4-Hers, families, volunteers, judges, and community partners. Because of you, Beyond the Clover became more than a livestock show, it became a place where every young person could learn, grow, belong, and thrive. A special thanks to Dr. Temple Grandin for being one of our judges and speakers. We are so grateful to have you be a part of this show and continue to be an inspiration to so many people.
