We had so much fun today with all our friends! Our 3.5, 4.0, and MLP players did great! It was a long day full of pickleball!

** Change of Location **

Our tournament is coming up soon and we have a lot of spots we need to fill. We know playing inside isn't ideal, especially as it warms up outside. So...we've changed the location. Brigham City has allowed us to switch and use the courts there. So we need you!! If playing inside was an issue we hope you'll come out and play with us outside!

We just have a couple of weeks left to register and we still have some spots we need to fill.
Our individual round robin tournaments have been so fun. It's a great opportunity to play with and against new people each game. Our MLP Format is something new and we are super excited to have some competitive games.

100% of the money this tournament brings in will go to support the work of the Box Elder County Children's Justice Center.

We've had a few questions about our tournament so let me do my best to answer.

Why April? We hold a tournament in April because that month has been designated nationally as Child Abuse Prevention Month for over 40 years. It's a time set aside to really focus on raising awareness and talking about prevention in our communities. Watch for a fall tournament though, because there's never a bad time to support the work of our Box Elder County Children's Justice Center.

Why in Tremonton on the indoor courts? We know playing inside isn't ideal and not what you prefer. We have our spring tournament in Tremonton because our county's CJC serves our whole county, not just Brigham City. We want to include people in other areas and hopefully raise awareness all over Box Elder County.
We do a tournament in Brigham City too, so watch for that one.

Who can play? Anyone older than 13 that feels like they can handle the competition. 😆 Our individual round robin is for those comfortable playing at a 3.5 level. You'll sign up individually and it is fun, competitive, and you will most definitely get your money's worth.
In the afternoon we are doing an MLP Format tournament where you'll sign up as teams (2 men & 2 women). It's for anyone that feels comfortable competing at a 4.0 level. We're hoping for some fun competitive games.

Why sign up and play? That's easy, because taking care of some of our most vulnerable is important. Child abuse affects us all, directly or indirectly. The CJC provides a safe place for children to talk about abuse they've experienced. When you support the CJC you help give our children and teens hope and healing.

It's that time of year again! This year we are so excited to be doing something a little different.
Saturday morning we are doing an individual round robin tournament, these are so much fun! In the afternoon we are excited to host an MLP Format tournament, you'll sign up as a team (2 women & 2 men).
All games will be played indoor in Tremonton at the fairgrounds.

Come visit us tomorrow night!

Join us tomorrow night for National Night Out! Come visit with Police, Fire, EMTs, SWAT, and more, and enjoy a hot dog, watermelon, and homemade root beer. Bill of Rights Plaza 5:30 to 7:00 on Tuesday, August 13.

This event is sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah and the Brigham City Police Department.

There are many nonprofit organizations that support the residents of Box Elder County with free services. From getting a free birthday cake for your child from Cake4Kids and the Box Elder Family Support Center to planting a garden with the Box Elder Community Garden to participating in the fine arts with Heritage Theater and the Brigham City Fine Arts Center. Plus so much more. Come and learn about what is available to you on Saturday June 8th 8-11 am at the Brigham City Courthouse.
