Briggsdale Community Library

The library will be closed this week for a little vacation for the volunteers (August 10th and 12th). We will reopen Monday the 15th and the last day for the bookmobile at the library will be the 17th before it goes over to the school for the school year. Our new hours are Monday and Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00pm. If you are returning Summer Reading books please come next week or you're welcome to put them through the book slot.

We had our last day of Summer Reading today. Thanks to Lonnie Erdmann for making us some great stegasaurus with his 3-D printer (every kid got one) and bringing his 3-D printer for a demonstration. Thanks to Irelyne and Caleb, archeologists from the US Forest Service for bringing some fun activities for the kids. Thanks to Verda for bringing the watermelon snack today. Thanks to Matthew Lederhause and Anavah Donoho for helping this year. Thanks to the High Plains Library District Bookmobile with all of their books and activites and prizes. Thanks to the 20 kids and parents who brought their kids each week. We had so much fun this year with dinosaurs and all the activities. Hurray for Xander and Xavier Johnston for reading the most and Gunner Stites for reading the next most books. They both got a BIG dinosaur as their reward.
