Congratulations to crossfitabsecon for taking home this year's coveted Reindeer Trophy after raising an incredible $1,741.20 in pledges for the Brigantine PTA’s Christmas in July 5K Reindeer Challenge! 🎉💪

Together, all of our Reindeer Challenge gyms raised more than $3,000 in pledge donations to support our school and students. What an amazing display of community spirit! ❤️🦌🏃‍♂️

A huge THANK YOU to every gym, runner, sponsor, and supporter who participated in this year's challenge. Your generosity is making a real difference for the Brigantine Community School.

The Reindeer Challenge isn’t over yet...🦌🏃‍♂️

We’re busy tallying the pledge totals and will announce which gym raised the most money for the Brigantine PTA on Monday!

The winning gym will earn the ultimate bragging rights and take home the coveted Running of the Reindeer Trophy for the year! 🏆

Our reindeer hit the course 3 minutes after the 5K started with one mission: pass as many runners as possible to earn pledge donations. Every runner they caught meant more support for an amazing cause!

Ready to Sleigh the Christmas in July 5K this weekend? Join the Brigantine PTA on Saturday, July 25th for a fun, festive race day!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Race Day Course Info! 🏁

📍9 AM Race Start at the Brigantine Community School Track
➡️ Head down East Evans Blvd;
⬅️ Turn left onto 12th Street North
💧 Continue to the East Shore Water Station where you'll make the turnaround.
🔄 Then retrace your steps all the way back to the finish line at the school!

Please remember this is an **open course**, so stay aware of your surroundings, follow volunteer directions, and cheer on your fellow runners along the way. We can't wait to see everyone at the starting line! 🏅💙

🎄🏃‍♂️ Running of the Reindeer Challenge🦌🎅

Local gym owners/representatives and fitness professionals aka - our "Reindeer"- are putting their speed to the test for a great cause at the Brigantine PTA Christmas in July 5K on Saturday, July 25, 2026!

🏁 HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

✨ The "Reindeer" start **after** the official 5K runners, giving everyone a head start.
🎯 Their mission? Catch and pass as many registered 5K participants as possible before the finish line!
💵 Supporters pledge a dollar amount for every runner their Reindeer passes.
🟰 After the race, each gym's donation total is calculated by multiplying the number of runners passed by the pledged amount.

🎉 The gym that raises the most money for the Brigantine PTA will earns ultimate bragging rights and the coveted Running of the Reindeer Trophy until next year's race!

🙌 Not 5k ready? Join us for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk! Come on out and cheer on your favorite Reindeer and make a pledge! It's all about friendly competition, community spirit, and supporting the amazing programs that benefit our Brigantine Community School.💙🏆
