Help support our Brier kids! 👟

ESD's Monster Mad Dash fundraiser is coming up this weekend!

The BRE team needs at least 20 members in order to earn a percentage of the net proceeds from the event. After that, the more team members BRE has, the more funding our school receives. So we need your help - sign up today!

Participation in the 5K is optional. Just register through this link to join team Brier Elementary Bobcats and help our school increase the funding we receive from this event. It's that easy!

This past week, staff from Brier Helping Brier visited the Edmonds School District office with a check to eliminate school lunch debt for several local schools. The check, made out for $10,000, represented the net proceeds of the recent Neighbors Feeding Neighbors efforts.

The schools initially benefitting are Brier Elementary, Cedar Way Elementary, Brier Terrace Middle School, and Mountlake Terrace High School. Remaining funds will be applied to other MLT schools with outstanding lunch debt.

For the second year in a row, Brier Helping Brier smashed their goal in erasing local school lunch debt.

MLT News featured last weekend's Neighbors Feeding Neighbors event!

The nonprofit Brier Helping Brier (BHB) hit its goal again this year of raising more than $11,000 at its second annual Neighbors Feeding Neighbors event

And the total raised to eliminate school lunch debt was...

What an amazing night at our Neighbors Feeding Neighbors event last night! Thanks to a large number of donations ahead of time from people who couldn't attend, and a generous crowd on hand for the event itself, we BLEW away our goal of $8000!

So what was the total? We finished the night at $10,500, and thanks to some additional funds that came in, we currently stand at $11,223! After expenses for the event, that will allow us to provide over $10,000 to the Edmonds School District for school lunch debt!

We are so grateful for the consistent, ongoing support of our neighbors! We also want to publicly express our appreciation to Brookview Church, who were our gracious hosts; to Sound Community Bank, who contributed a $500 grant in support of our efforts; and to Reham's Cake Gallery for the incredible desserts we were able to offer our guests.

What a great community we live in.
