And the total raised to eliminate school lunch debt was...

What an amazing night at our Neighbors Feeding Neighbors event last night! Thanks to a large number of donations ahead of time from people who couldn't attend, and a generous crowd on hand for the event itself, we BLEW away our goal of $8000!

So what was the total? We finished the night at $10,500, and thanks to some additional funds that came in, we currently stand at $11,223! After expenses for the event, that will allow us to provide over $10,000 to the Edmonds School District for school lunch debt!

We are so grateful for the consistent, ongoing support of our neighbors! We also want to publicly express our appreciation to Brookview Church, who were our gracious hosts; to Sound Community Bank, who contributed a $500 grant in support of our efforts; and to Reham's Cake Gallery for the incredible desserts we were able to offer our guests.

Neighbors Feeding Neighbors will help schools and families in Brier and Mountlake Terrace by raising funds to pay off school lunch debt. This event will feature gourmet desserts, student musicians and a speaker from the Edmonds School District.
