Thank you to all the members that participated and represented the club well. This is a great accomplishment and compliments our rich fishing history.
ABOUT THE GOVERNOR'S CUP: The New Jersey Governor’s Cup was awarded to a fishing club from 1938-1953 for an inter-club fishing tournament between New Jersey and New York fishing clubs. The cup was retired in 1953 when the tournament was discontinued and the MRMTC was the last winner of this prestigious event. The Cup was resurrected in 2017 for “War at the Shore” with a
tournament between the MRMTC, Beach Haven, Forked River, Ocean City and Cape May Marlin/Tuna Clubs.
