Well…when you combine a charitable and enthusiastic Woman’s Club of Brielle Evening Group with a local organization doing great things for families and present the combination to our fabulous library, you have the ideal trio to execute a successful collection.

To make this collaboration reach our sizable goal, you need to invite our generous community!

Back to the happy faces! They are celebrating over 4,075 items collected as of last week! Thank you to each and every contributor!

Can we reach our goal of 6,000? We think so! Please visit the library for all they offer, thank them for their contributions and don’t forget to put the Organic Farmers Market on your calendar.

Attention CRAFTERS who appreciate a JURIED craft fair!

The beautiful grounds of Brielle Park offer the ideal setting for crafters and shoppers to enjoy a busy day surrounded by thousands of visitors. Take a look at The Woman’s Club of Brielle Craft Fair application by visiting our website or QR code.

Our membership of close to 100 women participate in the year long planning to create an organized day for our community, crafters and shoppers. We added a fun Kids Corner last year and repeat visitors enjoy our Tea Garden, where you can enjoy a cool beverage and homemade cookies.

And it is not just The Brielle Day Craft Fair! Brielle Day includes live music and lots of delicious food presented by other organizations including the Fire Department, Police Department, Historic Association, Garden Club, Chamber of Commerce, Churches and more! We fill the entire park with activities with two play areas for the little ones to use up their energy.

We are here for you! Our new crafter promotion campaign helps direct your followers and shoppers by posting your business on our social media. Our experienced members will hang out in your tent if you need to get a bite to eat or take a bathroom break. So stop by our tent and say hello to the find out about what we offer, who we support and take a chance at the 50/50 Cash Raffle.

Say hello to Alison Manser Ertl, Publisher of Star News Group. If you are local, we are sure you have a copy of The Coast Star, The Ocean Star or Night & Day Magazine in your beach bag to get caught up on all the local happenings while enjoying a day at the beach.

The history of The Coast Star is one of consistency. The newspaper has been located at its current location, 13 Broad Street, Manasquan, since 1909, and has served the southern Monmouth County area since 1877.

The Ocean Star, located at 1101 Richmond Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, was launched in 1998 and serves the northern Ocean County area. In 2017, coverage of Brick Township was added.

Starnewsgroup.com, launched initially in March 2007, and completely re-designed in March 2017, combined the previous web sites for each of these publications into one local news source for The Coast Star and The Ocean Star readers. The extensive news coverage found each week on the pages of these two newspapers, is now also found online in interactive e-Editions at starnewsgroup.com.

Every woman’s club offers a different vibe, learning opportunity and the environment to use or advance your skills. Federated clubs offer a broad range of experiences including workshops at HQ.

Today, Brielle member Randi Quilici, NJSFWC Historian Chairman, facilitated the Canva.com Beginners Workshop alongside Shelley Rothstein, NJSFWC Communications Chairman. Katie Chambers, Board Member of the NJSFWC. (NJ State Federation of Women’s Clubs, www.njsfwc.org) led the instruction.

Everyone left with new skills to use in their own club or career. Reach out to a club near you and find out what you can learn.

FUN FACT: This Social Media Chair knew absolutely nothing about creating posts, designing flyers, spreadsheets, website maintenance, editing photos, facebook and more until she joined a woman’s club. Just saying...😉

The Woman’s Club of Brielle celebrates the Charter Members of the Woman’s Club of Brielle Juniorettes! Thirteen philanthropic and thoughtful high school girls were accepted into membership by the NJSFWC tonight.

Their purpose is to contribute to a meaningful community life, to become aware of community problems and how they could be met, and to learn the pleasure and rewards of working with a group.

We look forward to experiencing their energy and contributions as a newly formed Sisterhood.

A woman’s club is so much more than gathering for lunch, learning from a program, meeting like minded women, and discussing ideas for our communities. We jump into action and give support to those in need.

The Friends of Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center, MCCAC, is designed to minimize the trauma child victims experience in a physically and psychologically safe environment.

The Town Clock Community Development Corporation provides permanent, affordable, safe housing and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
