The Maine Event Prom Project We began our journey as a volunteer based non-profit in 2013. We take pride in having a comfortable and judgement free zone.

Our mission is to provide prom dresses, shoes, and accessories to teens in need, ensuring every student can feel confident, included, and celebrated on their special night, regardless of financial barriers.

✨ A quick and friendly reminder as prom season comes to an end ✨

✨ If you have come to us for a dress in the past, or have any formal dresses, shoes, jewelry, or accessories you no longer need, please consider donating so we can continue helping local girls attend prom and feel beautiful on this important night.

✨Every donation helps create another special prom memory for a teen in our community. We would not be able to do what we do if it wasn't for the women in this community, donating new or gently used beautiful dresses as well as their time and patience✨

If you or a teenager you know is still in need of a prom dress, please reach out to us we are here to help 💕Also, if you’ve set aside a dress, please let us know if you plan to pick it up. If not, we’d love to return it to the rack so another girl can find her perfect fit.

We are beyond grateful for the outpouring of donations, support, and helping hands from this amazing community. It truly reminds us that when we come together with a shared mission, beautiful things happen.

Has your daughter headed off to college? Is that beautiful prom gown still hanging in the back of your closet, waiting for another moment to shine?

We’re collecting prom dresses, shoes, and accessories just in time for our big weekend event, where hundreds of girls will come searching for the dress that makes them feel confident, seen, and unforgettable.

We’re excited to open our doors once again for an unforgettable weekend dedicated to helping teens find the perfect prom gown
Dates: April 11th & 12th, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: 32 Portland Rd. Bridgton, ME
We pride ourselves in being a welcoming, supportive, encouraging and comfortable environment
Every teen is welcome to browse and choose a gown that they love for prom 2026.
Our volunteers have curated a wide selection of beautiful prom gowns to choose from.
Please Note!
Our building is not heated, so it will be a bit chilly. We recommend dressing warmly and wearing layers for trying on gowns.
🚻We do not have a public restroom!!!

🅿️ Please park in municipal parking across the street or at the elementary school. No one is allowed to park in front of the building or at the laundromat. Thank you in advance!!!
Event Guidelines
We ask that students pick one gown per student for their final choice to ensure everyone has a chance to find one. We ask that no one holds onto gowns while trying them out. We ask for only two dresses in the dressing room at a time. This specific event is only for teens going to prom. We will be open by appointment only after the event for additional needs and other events.

💵 Each gown is a suggested donation of $45, though of course no one is turned away, all proceeds go to keeping the Maine Event Prom Project going! All donations are tax deductible

✨December is Donation Month at The Maine Event Prom Project✨

As we prepare for the 2026 prom season, the entire month of December will be dedicated to giving. While we will be closed for appointments starting December 1st, we will be open for donations all month long. PM us for information on how to donate.

If you’re in the holiday spirit and want to make a difference, your donation can help a local teen feel confident, beautiful, and supported on her big night.
