A huge thank you to Stella Blues Bakery!

Amber had some extra baked goods that she wanted to donate, so we were able to pass them along to some of our local unhoused community members.

We’re so grateful for local businesses like Stella Blues that help us spread a little kindness throughout our community! ❤️

YOU ARE INVITED- FREE COMMUNITY EVENT THIS FRIDAY NIGHT

Coming out to support this Art Exhibition means standing with our neighbors whose stories too often go unheard. The Lake Region Photovoice Project lifts up the voices, experiences, and powerful advocacy of community members who have faced housing instability right here in rural Maine. By joining us on August 28th, you’re not just attending an event — you’re helping shine a light on the realities of unsheltered living, celebrating the resilience captured through their photography, and showing that our community believes in awareness, compassion, and change.

*Need has been met!*

A local single mom is in need of a high-back booster seat for her child.

We are looking for a new or lightly used seat. If donating a used seat, please make sure it is:

- Clean
- Not expired
- Has never been in an accident

If you have one you’d be willing to donate, please message us! Every act of kindness makes a difference.

GRAND OPENING PARKING INFORMATION! 🚗

We’ve had lots of people asking about parking for our Grand Opening, and we expect it to be pretty busy! We want everyone to know about the different parking options available.

📍 Parking at our building • We have 3 parking spots on the Iredale Street side of our building. These spots are a little tight, and all three cars will need to park just right for everyone to fit.

• There are also unmarked parking spots along Route 117, on the front side of our building.

🏦 Norway Savings Bank There is additional parking across the street at Norway Savings Bank. Please keep in mind that the bank is open Saturday mornings until noon.

If you park there, we recommend using the Meadow Street side of their parking lot, away from the bank building. This will leave the spaces closest to the building available for their customers.

🚶‍♀️ Iredale Street Another option is parking along Iredale Street. There are parallel parking spots along the playground and near the town office.

We appreciate everyone being mindful of our neighbors and other businesses while parking. We’re expecting a great turnout and can’t wait to see everyone at our Grand Opening!

Thank you for helping us make the day run smoothly! 🩷
