On Saturday, May 23, 2026, TJ2 students, mentors, and family members had the privilege of marching in the Raynham Memorial Day parade. It is an honor to be part of an event that remembers those who gave their lives for our country. The team thanks the parade committee for the chance to give back to the community that gives so much to us!

TJ2 recently competed at the FIRST World Championships, at the George R Brown Convention Center, in Houston, TX. This event hosts competing teams from all 3 FIRST programs as well as vendors, sponsors, and interested spectators. Teams at the FIRST World Championship range from FLL (grades K-8), FTC (grades 7-12), FRC (grades 9-12), and come from across the United States and around the world!

Our FRC competition featured 8 full competition fields, for a total of 600 teams. TJ2 had the great honor of playing on the Newton field alongside 74 other teams from across the United States, Israel, the UK, Mexico, Turkey, Chinese Taipei, and Brazil. Our students had the opportunity to meet many of these teams, ask questions, and also share about themselves. It truly is a different experience to be able to walk up to someone from another country and learn and share with them.

Worlds does more than run 3 different levels of robot competitions. Participants can also take part in the innovation fair where they can interact with sponsors, supporters, and exhibits featuring manufacturing equipment and other items. Students also have the opportunity to connect with colleges and universities on Scholarship Row.

The team cannot thank our sponsors, mentors, coaches, families and community members enough for all your support and hard work in making our experience at the World stage possible. We now set our sights on the Massachusetts State Championship, in North Andover MA, on Saturday, May 30th. OH YEAH!

TJ2 recently competed at the New England District Championship, at the Big E, in Springfield, MA. The team played on the Newsom field which was named after Bonnie Newsom, an archeologist and professor at the University of Maine. Out of 50 teams on the Newsom field, TJ2 ended the qualification round ranked 6th and was the first pick of the 3rd ranked alliance. TJ2 ended District Champs as finalists on the Newsom field and the 9th ranked team in New England out of 200 active FRC teams! This performance earned the team a spot at the World Championships in Houston, TX! The team will pack the robot and equipment today and load it on a New England truck that will deliver several teams robots and equipment to Houston. Wish the team luck as they prepare to compete among the best robots in the world!

Last weekend the team competed in it's first official competition of the season. The team is known for it's cheering and competitiveness on the field and we did not disappoint. Other teams joined us in our cheering and many teams played heavy defense against us to try and slow us down. The team went into the playoffs as an alliance captain and made it several rounds before being eliminated. The team also earned the Innovation in Control award for our application of control components to provide unique machine functions. This award was earned because of our students and their knowledge and hard work! OH YEAH!

After weeks of designing, prototyping, building, and testing, it is finally time for our robot to take the field! This weekend TJ2 will be competing at the NE FIRST North Shore event, in Reading, MA with our robot Artemis. Tonight the team has set up our pit and after officially passing inspection, began testing systems in preparation for the next two days.

In true TJ2 fashion, the team noticed a team in need of help and immediately stepped in to assist. With our pit of tools at the ready and a run to The Home Depot our students and mentors are doing their best to help this team take the field tomorrow.

Wish all the teams luck and hope that we bring home a blue banner on Sunday!

The 2026 season officially kicks off today! In just under 4 hours, teams from around the world will gather to see what game their robot will have to play. Teams will have 6 weeks to think, collaborate, plan, prototype, build, and then test a robot which will have to compete against other teams for the chance to make it to the Championship stage. Happy Kick-Off Day!
