Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, take a moment to be grateful for those that are willing to protect and serve. And if you’re able, join us tomorrow at our blood drive. You can register online or we will be taking walk-ins as space allows.

Check-in in the lobby at the Bridgewater Police Department located at 220 Pleasant St. appointments run 8:00-2:30 tomorrow.

The Bridgewater Police Foundation is pleased to announce that the primary beneficiary for the Bridgewater Police 5k 2026 race will be the Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Management Team (PC CISM).

Our first fundraising event is supporting g them as they field a team for the National Grid Bfit Challenge at the TD Garden on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Let’s help them kick off the new year by exceeding their fundraising goals for this event. You can donate here: https://runsignup.com/pc_cism

In honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Friday January 9, 2026, the Bridgewater Police Foundation is hosting a blood drive with the Kraft Family Bloodmobile. Each donor will receive a 3/4 zip sweatshirt as our way of saying thank you.

Let’s show our officers how much we appreciate them this year on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day which is celebrated annually on January 9. This year we’re encouraging the community to send cards, notes and letters to each shift! A personal story recounting an encounter with an officer, or something positive to encourage them to as they head out to protect and serve would be a treasure.

Cards and notes can be mailed to the Bridgewater Police Department at 220 Pleasant St. Bridgewater, MA 02324. The shifts run 8-4. 4-12 and 12-8 and the split shift.

Let’s show our officers how much we appreciate them and all that they do for us!

Here’s tonight’s workout. Week 7, day 1. We’re so close to finishing this!! Please co plete this on your own. You’re stronger than you realize and can jog for 25 minutes. You’re not sprinting, just jogging!

Unfortunately, we will not be meeting in person tonight. I’m still recovering from some minor surgery. We’ll see about Wednesday, on Wednesday.

And don’t forget to join us tomorrow for a fundraising dinner at Barrett’s in Bridgewater. Lots of great raffle prizes and a portion of the proceeds from dinner will be donated back to the 5k.
