Due to a large number of Brothers travelling/unable to attend, and the Daughters also having cancelled their meeting, the Homer Searle Camp #114 will not be meeting this Wednesday, December 17th, 2025.

Due to the discovery of a Union veteran who died two years after James Fagan, the ceremony on September 13th is being "re-branded" as a "G.A.R. Marker Re-dedication." We'll be replacing the original marker which was destroyed when a tree encompassed it and had to be removed. The ceremony is not cancelled... we'll just be doing something a little different!

The Homer Searle Camp #114 will meet tonight at our usual location—the Bridgewater Municipal Building in Bridgewater—at 6:00PM. This will be our last meeting before our "Last Soldier Ceremony" in Harford Mills, New York on September 13th.

Our booth is up and ready to receive the crowds at the Madison County Fair in Brookfield! This year we invite the visitors into a Union soldier's campsite, and ask them to help find his gear without waking him after marching all day. And, of course, we put out applications to join the Sons...
