🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️This year's Pride Flag Raising was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together in the spirit of inclusion, acceptance, and respect.
Bridgewater Communities for Civil Rights would like to thank everyone who attended, participated, spoke, volunteered, and helped make this event such a meaningful celebration. Seeing residents, elected officials, community leaders, families, friends, and allies gathered together sends a powerful message: everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and respected.
As the Pride flag was raised in the center of town, it served as a symbol of visibility, hope, and belonging for LGBTQ+ individuals in our community. While Pride Month is a time of celebration, it is also an opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made and the work that still lies ahead in creating communities where all people can live authentically and without fear.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating Pride and demonstrating Bridgewater’s commitment to dignity, equality, and human rights for all. 🏳️🌈❤️🏳️⚧️
