📚 SUPPORT OUR LIBRARY 📚

Bridgewater Public Library is more than books on shelves. It provides internet access, technology assistance, children’s literacy programs, community gathering space, educational resources, job search support & so much more.

Proposed budget cuts would reduce library hours from 6 days per week to 4, eliminate Friday & Saturday access, reduce staffing levels, increase wait times for assistance, and result in fewer programs for children, teens & adults.

For approximately $30 per resident each year, our library delivers tremendous value to the entire community. These proposed cuts do not remove extras, they reduce core services that many residents rely on every day.

If you value a strong, accessible library, now is the time to speak up.

🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️This year's Pride Flag Raising was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together in the spirit of inclusion, acceptance, and respect.

Bridgewater Communities for Civil Rights would like to thank everyone who attended, participated, spoke, volunteered, and helped make this event such a meaningful celebration. Seeing residents, elected officials, community leaders, families, friends, and allies gathered together sends a powerful message: everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and respected.

As the Pride flag was raised in the center of town, it served as a symbol of visibility, hope, and belonging for LGBTQ+ individuals in our community. While Pride Month is a time of celebration, it is also an opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made and the work that still lies ahead in creating communities where all people can live authentically and without fear.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating Pride and demonstrating Bridgewater’s commitment to dignity, equality, and human rights for all. 🏳️‍🌈❤️🏳️‍⚧️

A free community event centered on the history and significance of Juneteenth. Featuring live music, cultural performances, local vendors, food trucks, educational workshops, and fun activities for all ages. GPS for parking is 351 Great Hill ave.
