Our 2025 Turkey Trot is officially wrapped up, and what an incredible morning it was! Thanks to all of you, we had record numbers yet again — 369 participants came out for this year’s trot, and together we raised an amazing $18,447 for Miles of Giving: The Newfound Turkey Trot Fund.

This fund supports Newfound children and families during the holiday season by providing gift cards for gas, groceries, and other essentials to those who may need a little extra help.

Wow—what a great Turkey Trot this morning!
Record numbers again for sure! We’re still tallying everything up and will share the final runner count and total funds raised as soon as we have them.

For now, we just want to give a huge thank you to our amazing volunteer team who showed up early, worked hard, and kept everything running smoothly — and of course to all the participants who made the morning so much fun. This event truly wouldn’t be possible without all of you.

We only snagged a few runner photos, but we got some shots of our volunteers. If you have any photos from the event, please share them — we’d love to see them!

🦃 44th Annual Bridgewater Turkey Trot – Important Info for Tomorrow! 🦃

We can’t wait to see everyone TOMORROW morning for our 44th year of this Thanksgiving tradition! The weather looks GOOD — cool (mid to upper 30s) but really nice for Thanksgiving and WAY better than last year’s crazy snowstorm!

Here’s what you need to know:

👉 Parking
Please park toward the side and back of the store and keep the front clear for event flow.
Overflow parking is available at the Bridgewater-Hebron Village School across the street.

👉 Registration & Check-In – NEW FLOW THIS YEAR
Enter through the side entrance into the barn near the golf simulators.
Inside the barn you will:
• Check in
• Purchase raffle tickets (6 for $5!)
• Enter your tickets into the prize buckets

After checking in, you’ll exit through the front of the store, where you can:
• Pick up your event shirt (if registered in time)

👉 Raffle
We’ve got a fantastic lineup of raffle bundles! 🎁
Place your tickets in the numbered buckets for the prizes you want. Winners will be drawn after the trot.

👉 The Trot
We start right at 9am. Course is our usual loop up 3A, around Whittemore Point Rd, and back.
This is a fun run/trot/walk — enjoy the morning!
🚓 Police Reminder: Please stay to the left side of the road and avoid running in the middle.
👟 NEW THIS YEAR: Kids 1-Mile Trot — day-of signups at the kids table.
🍌 ALSO NEW: A nutrition table with bars, bananas, water, Gatorade, fruit, trail mix & more.

👉 After the Trot
Head back inside to see if you’ve won a raffle prize! Drawings start 10:15–10:30am.
If you’re not there and you win, we’ll reach out.

We just wanted to send out one more big THANK YOU to all of the supporters of this event - the participants (over 330 this year), sponsors and volunteers. This event is all about teamwork and a community coming together to help others. Thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporters, we raised over $16,000 (yes, that's a record!) that will go directly toward helping Newfound families in need with gift cards for groceries, gas & other essentials. The weather didn’t stop us from trotting today! We had 330+ participants and thanks to participant donations, raffle ticket purchases and sponsors, we raised a record amount of funds (over $16,000!!) that will all be used to help Newfound children & families in need.
