Mark your calendars! The N.J. State 4-H Rabbit, Cavy, Small Animal, Herpetology, and Poultry Show will be held on Saturday, September 26th at the Hunterdon County Fairgrounds - (South County Park) - Roger K. Everitt Fairgrounds in the Grange Building.

The entry packet will be released in June.

Stop by the Somerset County 4-H Spring Carnival and visit our Furry Friends Small Animal Club and pet some of our animals outdoors in front of the Ted Blum 4-H Center!

We are here until 2:00pm! Admission and parking is free! Teb Blum 4-H Center is at 310 Milltown Road in Bridgewater!

Somerset County 4-H Furry Friends club members are excited to see who will win our awards at our Rabbit, Cavy, and Small Animal Show tomorrow at the Ted Blum 4-H Center in Bridgewater!

And, LOOK at all the items being offered in the Silent Auction tomorrow, ending at 1:00pm!

Please remember to bring your completed paper entry form along with payment to the show!

Save the Date!

Somerset County 4-H Furry Friends Small Animal club - Rabbit, Cavy, and Small Animal Show at the Ted Blum 4-H Center, 310 Milltown Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 on Sunday, January 4th, 2026!
Doors open at 8:30am for animal health checks. Judging starts as close to 10:00am as possible.
Pre-registration for all email entries closes at 11:59pm on January 1st, 2026
Pre-registered email entries are $ 5.00 per animal per class entered.
Show exhibitors (4-H members) must be of 4-H age eligibility. Cloverbuds (Prep) are Kindergartners - 3rd Grade, Juniors are 4th-8th grade, and Seniors are 9th grade through one-year out of high school are eligible to participate.
Day of Show entries are accepted at $ 6.00 per animal per class entered.
Breed Classes, Showmanship, and Special Classes are being offered, as well as a Costume class!

Somerset County 4-H Furry Friends is hosting a Rabbit and Cavy Showmanship clinic on Thursday, March 27th at 7:00pm in the Gym at the Ted Blum 4-H Center!

All 4-Hers are welcome!

Don't forget to bring a mat to place under your Rabbit or Cavy!
