Hands-On Archery with Tim the Archer & Rutgers Students
Rutgers students joined us at Cohanzick Nature Reserve for a hands-on archery session with Tim the Archer—and they did an amazing job. This video captures their focus, excitement, and joy as they learn the basics of the bow. It’s a fun look at experiential learning and the confidence that comes from trying something new.

Indigenous Dancing & Drumming with Rutgers Visitors
We welcomed visitors from Rutgers to experience Indigenous dancing and drumming at the Cohanzick Nature Reserve. After sharing songs and dances, we invited them into the final dance so they could feel what it’s like to move together in community. Rutgers–Camden Panel on Land Exploitation & Conservation
During a visit from Rutgers–Camden, four representatives from Cohanzick Nature Reserve spoke frankly about land exploitation, conservation, and the lived experiences of Indigenous people. This is a thoughtful, honest discussion and a great learning resource for students, educators, and anyone wanting to understand environmental justice from an Indigenous perspective.

RWJF Panel at Cohanzick Nature Reserve
We’re honored to share this panel from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s visit to the Cohanzick Nature Reserve. The video quality isn’t perfect—it was generously recorded and donated by someone in the room—but the stories and insights are powerful. If you’re interested in Indigenous-led conservation, community health, and our mission of “Preserving Past, Protecting Future,” this conversation is worth your time.

A warmer, safer home for every generation.

When Ms. Johnson welcomed our team into her 60-year-old Vineland home, she hoped for relief from the cold and worry about her grandson’s health. She told us, “After NAAC upgraded our insulation and removed old lead paint, I finally sleep soundly, knowing my family is safe. I never thought help like this was possible.”

Stories like Ms. Johnson’s remind us why we serve. Our Indigenous, women-led team is here to protect families, preserve homes, and honor the legacy of our elders.

If you or someone you know lives in an older home in Atlantic or Cape May County, call us today to see if you qualify for free energy and lead safety upgrades.
