Join us Wednesday for the Gateway Wellness Center Inclusive Garden Grand Opening!

This garden represents more than an outdoor space—it is a place designed to promote wellness, connection, sensory exploration, inclusion, and belonging for the individuals, families, and communities we serve.

Over the past several months, we have worked to transform our outdoor space into an inclusive environment featuring a sensory area, butterfly garden, greenhouse, community gathering spaces, and opportunities for individuals of all abilities to connect with nature and one another.

We would love to celebrate this special milestone with the partners who have supported our work and share our commitment to creating more inclusive communities.

For 39 years, Mr. Albert B. Kelly, Founder and CEO of Gateway Community Action Partnership, has demonstrated what it truly means to serve others. His leadership has helped transform Gateway into a lifeline for thousands of individuals and families, leaving a legacy that will endure for generations.

But perhaps his greatest achievement isn't found in the buildings constructed, the programs created, or the milestones reached.

It's found in the people whose lives will never be the same because Gateway was there.

On Thursday, November 5, 2026, we invite you to join us for Gateway's 39th Anniversary Gala, as we celebrate an extraordinary organization and pay a heartfelt tribute to the man whose vision, compassion, and unwavering commitment helped make it all possible.

Please note that the monthly food assistance distribution for Penns Grove is this Thursday. Updated clients may visit the Manheim Pantry in Bridgeton Wednesday and Friday this week. All are welcome in Bidgeton on Monday, Wednesday and Friday next week. Contact the Pantry at 856-455-1589 with questions.

New Jersey Economic Development Authority recently awarded Gateway CAP a Food Equity and Economic Development in New Jersey (FEED NJ) grant. This program awards grants to innovative, sustainable projects that strengthen food access and food security in New Jersey’s most acute Food Desert Communities. Gateway's award secured funds to acquire a mobile food pantry and provide a "Grow Your Own Groceries" program. Gateway is pleased to announce that the mobile pantry hosted its first food assistance distribution and the schedule for the rest of October. Congratulations to the Food Pantry team, and to all the residents who will benefit from this innovative initiative! , ,
