A packed house today for the Bridgeport Lions Club! 🦁

A big thank you to Amy Ellis for joining us and giving our members a great rundown on what’s happening across Bridgeport ISD. We appreciate her taking the time to keep our club informed about our local schools and the work being done for students throughout the district.

It was also great to see a packed room for today’s program. Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us!

HAPPENING TOMORROW! (9/16) Bridgeport ISD Superintendent, Amy Ellis, will headline our BLC "TALK" luncheon with a "State of the School District" presentation - exclusively at this event. All members of the public are welcomed to attend. Lunch will be provided. $10 entry for all non BLC members. Doors open at 11:30am.

Congratulations to Jill Casalegno for winning our first monthly 50/50 BLC fundraiser raffle. Jill won $280+!

We will be drawing another raffle winner at our next rally on the evening of Wednesday, October 7

Only $1 per ticket!

You can purchase your tickets at our actual rally, at our third Wednesday luncheons, or our last last Thursday monthly poker nights.

You DO NOT have to be a Lions Club member to come! If you’ve ever been curious about the Lions, want to meet some folks, or just want to come hang out and eat some spaghetti — come on!

🃏♠️ FIRST-EVER LIONS CLUB POKER NIGHT! ♣️♦️

Our first Poker Night is officially in the books — and we had a blast!

We kicked things off with 16 total buy-ins by the end of the night. Not bad for our very first game!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped us get this new Lions Club tradition started. Now it’s time to grow it!
