Bridgeport Women’s Club met this evening at Marker Cellars, and I’m always reminded how much good this group does for our community.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved with a local service organization, we’d love to have you! Just comment BWC below, and we will send you the information.

Some of the ways we serve our community:

• We award scholarships each year to graduating BISD seniors.
• We also provide non-traditional scholarships for students returning to continue their education.
• Our annual golf tournament and silent auction help fund these scholarships and support our Spirit of Christmas program.
• Spirit of Christmas brings our community together to help local families provide Christmas for their children.

Whether you’d like to become a member, volunteer, donate, or simply support what we do, we’d love to welcome you. Together, we can continue making a difference in Bridgeport.
