Bridgeport, mark your calendars — Charity Day is happening on November 22, 2025 at the Bridgeport YMCA, and the whole city is invited. ❤️

The Boame Helping Hands Foundation is bringing together agencies from across the region for a powerful day of support, gratitude, and community care. From free turkeys to health screenings, mental health resources, haircuts, beauty services, housing help, kids activities, and so much more — all at no cost.

This is what Bridgeport looks like when we show up for one another. Bring your family, your friends, and if you can, a donation of non-perishable food to help another household this Thanksgiving.

• Bridgeport Rescue Mission (Mon/Wed/Fri 10-12 & 1-3)
• Bishop Jean Williams Food Pantry (Tue/Wed/Thu by appointment)
• Black Rock Food Pantry (Sat 9-11:15 for ZIP 06605)
• Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry (Thu 7:30-10am)
And statewide: CT Foodshare
