On Friday July 3, 2026 the James O’Rourke statue was rededicated in front of baseball Diamond 1. On hand to say a few words were Patrick O’Rourke and his family, Bobby Christoph, Sarsfield Ford and Michael Bielawa (portraying O’Rourke in his vintage uniform)

Special thanks to Jim Meszoros for taking the reins to getting the statue out of storage and back in the public eye. It’s a perfect location!
