Are you looking to learn more about VA health care and maximize the benefits you’ve rightfully earned?

​American Legion Post 493 wants to ensure every veteran in our community has access to the care and support they deserve. We are strongly encouraging our members, and all area veterans who are not yet enrolled in VA health care, to attend an upcoming Veteran Town Hall Event.

​Whether you need assistance with the enrollment process, have questions about filing disability claims, or want to explore available family and caregiver resources, this is a prime opportunity to get face-to-face guidance and support.

It is that time of year again, where we get ready to entertain these kids. If you have been there before you know what is involved. If you have not seen it for yourself, I enjoy you to come and enjoy the day. All donations are greatly appreciated so that we can accommodate the approximately 500 children and their families that come each and every year

Larry's Home Resident Updates Over Four Months:
Significant Progress Achieved.
Three housing vouchers secured, two residents gained employment, and one received proper medical care and transportation assistance. Regular weekly housing meetings are ongoing.

Seven community events hosted with participation from House veterans.
Three residents joined the local American Legion Post in Little Egg Harbor, and one successfully restored their driver's license.

Currently working with Solider On, Operation Chill Out, MA,22, American Legion, VA, Bring Veterans Home, and the community at large for this project.

Veterans are actively engaged throughout the community.
