Doing what Sea Scouts do best! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working through a specialized version of the USCG Auxiliary Risk Management class. During our cruise last week, the scouts conducted a formal risk assessment before departure and confidently determined we were in a "GO" situation. Last night, we applied that same training to our planned trip for this coming weekend; however, given the gale-force winds in the forecast, the crew reached a "NO GO" decision. Proud of our scouts for prioritizing safety and putting their training into practice!
