Come on down to Benbow Golf Course TOMORROW, June 6th and join in our third annual golf tournament. Proceeds will benefit Skyfish/Briceland Learning Center. A change this year will be that we will be serving breakfast @ 8:30 am. There will still be goodies available along the course including an opportunity to win tickets to the Summer Arts Festival. We will have breakfast in the morning and golf; wrapping up in time to head to Billy’s memorial in the afternoon! 🥰 Shayna Stillwell

OOPS! It has been brought to my attention that the email address on the flyers around town had a misspelling. Fear not, many folks have still found their way...to RSVP and we do have a few more spots available for tree grafting. All materials will be provided for this hands-on session. You will have the opportunity to learn the art of grafting and graft your own fruit tree to take home and plant! Thank you to Buckingham for facilitating this workshop and to the Ink People, Humboldt Creative Alliance and Measure J for supporting our Southern Humboldt educators and entertainers at the May Faire this year!

There will be a free Tree Grafting Workshop during our May Faire at 11:30 on Saturday. Local instructor Brooke Buckingham will guide participants through the art of grafting fruit trees in this fun, hands-on activity. You will be able to graft a tree and take it home to plant. There is apple, peach, pear, plum and cherry. All materials and supplies are provided. Children are welcome to participate alongside their parents. Be sure to pop over during the faire!

Please join us on May 2nd from 10-4pm to celebrate the coming of spring.

Featuring: our student-grown vegetable and flower starts, local vendors, an opening performance with the Round Valley Feather Dancers and live music by the Yarduties and WolfTree. We will wrap the May Pole at 1pm. Come and support our students at this fun family event.

Every year the May Faire includes a free community trade "circle." Feel free to do some spring cleaning and bring any items that you are ready to pass along to someone else!

Mark your calendar for the May Faire and Plant Sale at the Octagon from 10am-*4pm on May 2nd. This year we are pleased to announce that our event is growing. We will have our student grown vegetable, herbs and plant starts along with delicious food, live music, kids carnival games and the May Pole at 1 pm. Come enjoy the day on the meadow and celebrate the coming of spring!
