A vivid example of change progressing in Haiti's Education, Founder of Anseye Pou Ayiti, Nedgine Paul, was recently interviewed thanks to Radio Television Caraibes, Harmonie, & Martin. Check out the pics!

Mèsi anpil, Martine Denis Chandler, ekip "Harmonie" & Radio Television Caraibes pou entèvyou avèk Direktris Jeneral nou ak anseyan-lidè nou yo. Nou apresye opòtinite sa pou nou pataje misyon ak apwòch Anseye Pou Ayiti. Nan tèt ansanm: pou elèv yo, pou peyi nou! (Repriz sou RTVC: Vandredi 10H am, samdi 7H30pm, lendi 1H pm.)

Special thanks to host Martine Denis Chandler, "Harmonie" program team & Radio Television Caraibes for the TV interview with our CEO & teacher-leaders. Very grateful for this opportunity to share the mission & approach of the Anseye Pou Ayiti movement. Let's stand in solidarity: for the students, for our nation!

REMEMBER: You teach people how to love you by the way you love yourself.

Not to say we should forget about whatever (or whoever) is behind us, but that we should learn from this, and move forward wiser and better prepared to create a more enlightened future.

Games...

What is the Game of Go?
The game of Go originated over 4,000 years ago in ancient China where it was considered one of the four activities a person had to master in order to be truly civilized, the other three being poetry, music, and painting. It was brought to Japan around the seventh century C.E., probably by Buddhist monks returning from training in monasteries in China. Although the game is much older than Buddhism, it was quickly recognized by Buddhists as a useful tool for Buddhist practice. Learn More: http://tricy.cl/1uQhi3k

“If we want children to flourish, to become truly empowered, then let us allow them to love the earth before we ask them to save it. Perhaps this is what Thoreau had in mind when he said, “the more slowly trees grow at first, the sounder they are at the core, and I think the same is true of human beings.”
