Plug In America, a nonprofit organization is helping educate the public on electric vehicles. Their 2026 annual EV Driver Survey is out and we would love your help sharing it. Each year they get thousands of responses that help us get a pulse on topics, such as charging, dealerships, purchase considerations, barriers to adoption, and more.

Players in the automotive, utility, and EV industries turn to surveys to guide their decision-making, while journalists and others use the results to put current events into a broader context and gain a greater understanding of the EV landscape.

Plug In America launched its 2026 annual survey and invites U.S. residents to share their experiences with or perceptions of EVs.

Location: Town of Walkill Little League Field: 1 Little League Way, Scotchtown, NY 10941
Dates: September 27 and 28, 2025
Event Hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

EV Owner Work Hours: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
EV Owner Pay: $350 per day

Staff Hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Staff Pay: $200 per day

EV owners who work with us share their knowledge and experience owning electric vehicles by facilitating test drives in their vehicles. They will sit in the right-hand seat of their vehicles while event attendees test drive on a safe, predetermined drive route. No freeways, performance drives or anything like that. All right-hand turns on about a 5-minute route.

If anyone is interested in working with us on staff, they absolutely can. Staff help guide the event flow, monitor traffic and talk to event attendees while they wait for their drives. They also assist with set up and tear down of the event.
