Dear Friends,

Thank you for supporting the AFSC and for all your well-wishes for my climb on Mont-Tremblant. Over the course of a day and a half I climbed 16,050 vertical feet, covering roughly 24 miles in sun, mud, and incredible natural beauty, the equivalent of climbing over half of Mt. Everest. On my last trip up the mountain, my legs felt like rubber, my physical endurance almost spent. I took it 500 feet at a time, resting a little at each increment, until I finally made it to the top. Although I haven't yet achieved the strength and endurance to climb all of Everest, I know I did what I could. This is how we get there eventually: we persevere. We don't stop. We keep climbing.
