The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is offering a new free COVID-19 telehealth Paxlovid treatment service. It’s quick and easy and if approved they will arrange for free Paxlovid pickup at your local pharmacy or overnight delivery (if the prescription is written before 5 p.m. Monday - Friday). Insurance is not required. The new flyer says:

A new telehealth service can tell you if the COVID-19 pill is right for you. The pills can be sent to your pharmacy or to your home — for free!

3. Join a video call with a clinician to see if you are eligible.

Covid Bivalent Booster & Flu Vaccine Clinic to be held at BBC Monday October 3rd from 1:00 to 2:30 pm
The Caring Nurses in conjunction with Whole Health Pharmacy will be offering a Covid Bivalent Booster & Flu Vaccine Clinic at Brewster Baptist Church on Monday October 3rd from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm in Fellowship Hall .

Who is ELIGIBLE?:
Covid Bivalent Booster: Age 18 and up only.
We are only be able to offer ONE choice for the new covid Bivalent booster (either Moderna or Pfizer) due to a National shortage. We won’t know until the day before if we will be offering Moderna or Pfizer. It must be at least 2 months since you have had a covid vaccine.

Flu Vaccine: Two choices are available.
Regular Flu Vaccine ages 65 and under.
High Dose Flu Vaccine for those 65 and over.

You may receive BOTH the Covid Bivalent Booster AND the flu vaccine at the same time on the same day. They will each be given separately in separate arms.

Cost: The covid bivalent vaccine is free but the flu vaccine requires insurance coverage. Please bring your insurance cards.

Preparing for your vaccine appointment:
Please bring the signed consent form, your covid vaccine card and all your insurance cards including Medicare card. Wear a short sleeved shirt. Plan to stay 15 mins after receiving your vaccine.

VIRTUAL via Zoom. Participants are required to complete a 2 hour self-paced workshop online before attending the 6 hour virtual training via Zoom. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults

Covid Vaccine Clinic to be held at BBC Tuesday June 7th 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

The Caring Nurses in conjunction with Whole Health Pharmacy will be offering a Free Covid Vaccine Clinic at Brewster Baptist Church on Tuesday June 7th from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in Fellowship Hall .

Who is ELIGIBLE for Either Initial Shot or Booster Shot:
(Ages 5 to 11 are NOW eligible to receive their FIRST vaccine & the booster 5 months after their initial Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination series
BUT we are NOT able to offer this shot at this clinic as it’s given at a different concentration.)

INITIAL shot: This is for either the 1st or 2nd dose: ages 12 and older for Pfizer and ages 18 and older for Moderna.

BOOSTER Shot:

First Booster: Everyone ages 12 years and older can get 1 booster after completing their initial covid vaccine primary series. It must be 5 months since you completed your series of 2 initial shots.

Second Booster:
• It must be at least 4 months since your FIRST booster.
• Age 50 or older
• Everyone ages 12 years and older who are moderately or severely IMMUNOCOMPROMISED
• People who got 2 doses (1 primary dose and 1 booster) of Johnson & Johnson Jansen vaccine

Preparing for your vaccine appointment:
Please bring the signed consent form, your covid vaccine card and insurance card. Wear a short sleeved shirt. Plan to stay 15 mins after receiving your vaccine.
