As the café serves people from the streets, it provides practical help while creating opportunities to build relationships and share the good news of Messiah Jesus.

When Bogi offered to help Josephine with preparations at the synagogue, a moment of stress turned a chance encounter into a real friendship.

Please pray that God would use this trust Bogi has earned to open Josephine's heart and that he would draw her to Messiah Jesus.

As Mark, our missionary in Australia, read John 1 to Michael in a Sydney café, something unexpected happened.

At the exact moment he read, "The light shines in the darkness," sunlight broke through the window and shone directly onto Michael's face.

Michael appreciated the passage and is continuing to explore who Jesus really is. Mark looks forward to sharing more about Jesus, the Light of the World, when they meet again.

A local church in Odessa recently opened its doors for a special Shabbat outreach led by Igor and Galyna.

The event was part of our Loved by God Summer Outreach programme and created opportunities to share the gospel, answer questions and point people to Messiah Jesus.

Please pray for those who attended, that the message they heard would continue to challenge and encourage them to faith in Jesus.

Mark, our missionary in Sydney, Australia, meets regularly with Michael in a café to discuss life, faith and the gospel. Recently, while reading John 1 together, Michael was deeply impacted by the words:

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

Stories like this remind us that God is still drawing Jewish people to himself through faithful gospel witness.

As part of our Loved by God Summer Outreach programme, Igor was recently out on the streets of Odessa, speaking with people about the hope found in Messiah Jesus.

Each conversation was an opportunity to answer questions and share the Good News.
Please pray that those Igor met would continue thinking about what they heard and that God would open hearts to the truth of Jesus.
