💙 Advocacy in Action on Capitol Hill! 🩸

Megan Crow joined the incredible staff from Vanderbilt Hemostasis Treatment Center in Washington, D.C., for the Hemophilia Alliance Day on the Hill!

Together, they met with lawmakers to highlight the importance of Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs), the comprehensive care and services they provide, and the positive impact they have on the lives of individuals living with bleeding disorders.

They also discussed the HELP Copays Act, bipartisan federal legislation aimed at ensuring copay assistance counts toward patients’ deductibles and out-of-pocket costs.

👏 We are so thankful for Megan and the dedicated staff at Vanderbilt who continue to go above and beyond for our bleeding disorders community. Your passion, commitment, and advocacy make a difference!

Members of our community recently had the opportunity to attend HFA’s Advocacy Retreat in Washington, D.C., where they spent time learning, training, and gaining the tools to become even stronger advocates for themselves, their families, and the bleeding disorders community.

Then they put that training into action! 🏛️ Our advocates met with legislative staff from both Tennessee and Kentucky to share their personal stories, discuss the issues that matter most to our families, and make sure the voices of the bleeding disorders community were heard.

We are incredibly proud of each of you for showing up, speaking up, and advocating for access to care and the needs of our community.

And a huge thank you to the Hemophilia Federation of America for educating, equipping, and empowering advocates to make a difference.
