Welcome to the final day of !

Morning plenaries include Dr. Saydra Wilson's talk on navigating the challenges of TMS for schizophrenia, followed by Dr. Daniel Ciampi de Andrade discussing non-invasive neuromodulation for fibromyalgia. Dr. Linda Carpenter will share insight on keeping our patients well with TMS maintenance therapy.

We will explore electric field modeling with Dr. Zhi-De Deng, and close our general sessions with Dr. Alvaro Pascual-Leone’s look into improving cognitive health.

We are honored to introduce one of the foremost authorities in neuromodulation, Dr. Linda Carpenter, as a featured speaker for the CTMSS 2026 Annual Meeting!

As the Director of the Butler Hospital TMS Clinic and a Professor at Brown University, Dr. Carpenter’s influence on the field is unparalleled. With over 200 peer-reviewed papers and a career dedicated to clinical trials in mood and anxiety disorders, she remains at the absolute cutting edge of psychiatric research.

Dr. Carpenter is a cornerstone of our society. Since 2014, she has served on our Board of Directors, acted as a founding faculty member of the PULSES course, and currently leads as the PULSES Director. In 2024, she was awarded the CTMSS Medal of Honor—a testament to her transformative contributions to education and clinical practice.

Among our lineup of speakers for this year's CTMSS Annual meeting is Daniel Ciampi de Andrade, MD, PhD. Dr. Ciampi is a neurologist, associate professor at the Center for Neuroplasticity and Pain at Aalborg University’s Faculty of Medicine in Denmark. His research focuses on symptom control in neurological diseases, particularly pain. He has a special interest in the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to investigate and modulate pain-related neural circuits. He serves as Vice President for Research at EFIC (European Pain Federation) and is a Section Editor for the European Journal of Pain. He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and has been awarded European research grants for his work on pain mechanisms.
