In our October issue of *Brentwood Living*, we are honored to introduce you to longtime educator, active volunteer, and proud Brentwood resident **Dolores Long**! 📖🏡

Driven by a deep sense of patriotism and a lifelong heart for service, Dolores spent 40 years shaping young minds in public education while raising three vibrant children—Michelle, Michael, and Matthew—alongside her late husband, Kevin. Together, they built a family foundation rooted in outdoor adventures, community youth programs, and deep connections.

Today, Dolores continues to give back directly to our town as President of the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) in Brentwood, supporting our nation's veterans and military families. She is also channeling her passion into local equine-guided education to support veterans with PTSD.

🎾 **Serving Success: Heritage High Girls Tennis is Back in Action!** 🎾 NEXT HOME MATCH IS IN 2 WEEKS - MARK YOUR CALENDAR

The 2026 season is underway, and the Heritage High School Girls Tennis team is hitting the courts with unmatched energy, passion, and sportsmanship!

In our September Edition of Brentwood Living, we featured Head Coach Beth Hill—entering her sixth season after being named the 2023–24 NFHS California North Coast Section Coach of the Year! Alongside Assistant Coach Diane Sullivan and Volunteer Coach John Reynolds, Coach Hill is focused on building strong leaders on and off the court.

Leading the charge this year as Team Captains are seniors **Rianna Buyan, Koko Sherman, and Raela Vongtama**! They are supported by returning varsity sophomores Deepti Krishna, Tarini Mynini, and Nidhi Venkat, plus a talented group of underclassmen.
