Another great day!! Classroom time, medical checkups, new curriculum supplies being used by the teachers, rain and more rain, laughter, singing and praising God together. Love that we have built relationships with the community and the kids and we are welcomed so openly. Can’t wait to go out in the community tomorrow to visit some of our parents and grandparents of the children at the school! The River is definitely calling our name too!!

Our trip has been beyond a blessing so far!! Our hearts are smiling and filled with joy. Thankful we have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with others while encouraging and supporting teachers and schools around the world. Ms Brenda you rocked today!! The kids loved you and the teachers were so engaged and willing to learn. Can’t wait until tomorrow to see the teachers in action with the new resources we have shared!!

Many of you have asked for us to make a wish list for our upcoming mission trips!! I think I did it correctly and I have a couple teachers adding to the list as well. We leave for Jamaica in just a couple of weeks and we are going to Africa in early June. (There is still time for you to join us!!) Thank you all for your support! We are working with a small Christian school in San Jose De Cabo Mexico and would like to provide 9 computers for the high school kids. Looking for others would would like to partner with us!! Each computer will be $225. Can you help?!!! All donations are tax deductible and every dollar helps!! Many of you sponsored citrus trees in Africa. It was so exciting to see the growth since our last trip. Not only does this provide fruit for the students but also is a step in the direction of becoming a self sustaining opportunity for the school. The class out in the orchard was also being taught all about plants and how they grow. As I walked by I could hear the teacher talking about roots and seeds and the students repeating the vocabulary! Such an incredible project you made possible!!

Our team had the privilege of working alongside fantastic teachers at the iDream School in Ndola Africa. The mutual trust shared creates a great partnership. They were able to share about the concept of teaching in centers and shared new ideas on how to teach each domain with the children. The children were excited to use the new curriculum supplies and the teachers loved the new approach! They were able to show the teachers how to introduce new and exciting ways of incorporating literature into their classroom schedules by visiting the library as a class. They hope this will help the students develop the love for reading!!

We love bringing Chapel to iDream when we are visiting. Helping the Bible come alive and singing praise and worship with all the kids is one of our favorite parts!!

We are in search of 2 of the car carpets for classrooms in Africa!! We hope to ship next week with a team going. If you don’t have one but would like to donate toward the purchase of them we’d love that too!!

Also in need of large suitcases (preferably hardshell but will take any!) that you are ready to donate!! We hope to fill them with school supplies for our great teachers in Africa!! Need asap!

Great way to help!! We are coming to the end of a shoe fundraiser for Reach Teach and Empower and could still use a few more bags of gently used shoes!! Clean those closets before Christmas!!😁😁 We would love your shoe donations. If you need a receipt for taxes I can get you that too!!
