We’ve had quite a few new followers recently, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself!
My name is Nina, and I’m the Founder & CEO of Think Big Act Bigger. I started this nonprofit with one goal: to help students in our community start the school year with confidence and the supplies they need to succeed.
One thing that sets us apart from other school supply giveaways is how we serve families. We never require anyone to prove their income because we believe it’s not our place to judge someone’s financial situation. If a family needs help, we’re here to help, no questions asked.
We also never pre-fill our backpacks. Instead, every student gets to choose the supplies they need and want. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to express their individuality and select items that work best for them.
What started as a small idea has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. We’ve officially outgrown our previous location and have moved into a larger space to continue serving more families each year.
As our nonprofit grows, so do our expenses. We are currently looking for sponsors and supporters to help make this year’s event our biggest and best yet.
