Today we honor and remember Officer Glennon Fernau. On May 29, 2009, Officer Glennon Fernau died as a result of injuries sustained when he pursued a suspect in 2003. A fall during the pursuit caused partial paralysis and, later, spinal injury. Officer Fernau died from complications in surgery.
Officer Fernau served with the Florissant Police Department for three years. He left behind his wife and three children, ages 17-, 15- and 8-years old.
We will never forget the life and legacy of Officer Glennon Fernau.
