Today we honor and remember Officer Lorenzo Rodgers. On June 12, 1990, Officer Lorenzo Rodgers was shot and killed when he took action during an armed robbery while off duty.

Officer Rodgers served with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for 14 months.

We will never forget the life and legacy of Officer Lorenzo Rodgers.

The BackStoppers family is deeply saddened by the passing of Steve Holley. Steve was more than a steadfast supporter of our mission; he was a visionary leader whose dedication and commitment helped shape the extraordinary impact Guns 'N Hoses made on our organization.

Steve was the only remaining founding father of the first Guns ‘N Hoses. He faithfully served alongside Guns ‘N Hoses legends, his father, Bo Holley, Jerry Clinton and Jack Martorelli. When it was his time to carry the torch, he led with charisma, passion and the steadfast objective of achieving the highest amount of support for families of fallen and catastrophically injured heroes.

Steve’s commitment to our families and the first responder community will never be forgotten. His work of creating the St. Louis’ marquee Thanksgiving Eve event and our largest fundraiser will continue. His legacy will be a part of BackStoppers forever.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Steve Holley, longtime Executive Director of Budweiser Guns 'N Hoses.

Steve dedicated much of his life to supporting the mission of Guns 'N Hoses and The BackStoppers, helping raise millions of dollars to assist the families of fallen first responders throughout our community. His leadership, friendship, and commitment to others left an immeasurable impact on our organization and on countless lives across the St. Louis region.

On behalf of the entire Guns 'N Hoses family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Holley family.

At the request of the family, we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.

Today we honor and remember Firefighter/Paramedic Chris Moore. On June 8, 2019, Firefighter Paramedic Chris Moore died in the line of duty as a result of suffering a medical emergency.

Firefighter Paramedic Moore served with the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District for 17 years. He was a member of the IAFF Local 2665 and Missouri Task Force 1. He left behind his two children.

We will never forget the life and legacy of Firefighter/Paramedic Chris Moore.

Today we honor and remember Chief Wayne Neidenberg. On May 6, 2019, Chief Wayne Neidenberg died in the line of duty when he suffered a fatal heart attack after assisting at the scene of an accident.

Chief Neidenberg was a 35-year veteran of law enforcement. He left behind his wife and adult children.

We will never forget the life and legacy of Chief Wayne Neidenberg.

Today we honor and remember Officer Gerald Jaeger. On June 6, 1964, Officer Gerald Jaeger was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while preparing to direct traffic.

Officer Jaeger left behind his wife, 8-year old son and 6- and 4-year old daughters.

We will never forget the life and legacy of Officer Gerald Jaeger.
