This is our Hairy. He was our very first save out of the auction pipeline. He was tied to a pole in the back barn. No water. No hay. Didn't flinch when we waived our hand in front of his eye. Not even a blink. He was so hairy, thus his name, it hid how thin he was, until you put a hand on him. He had burrs in his forelock, mane, and tail. We fixed him up. Even though he was mid 30's, he gained weight. He lived the rest of his days with us. He inspired us. Taught all that met him about hope and ❤️
