To think that Drew’s summer vacation stories don’t have to end, because I have wonderful friends to help me keep his memory alive- it’s very heart-warming!

Thank you to a wonderful childhood friend, John Vollmer and his wife Sam who carried his memorial rock with them on their adventure! Can I tell you how much Drew Cooke would have LOVED this trip! He craved driving long distances on the road and traveling and most of all- the water! So, Hot Springs?? He would have been ecstatic about- thank you from the bottom of my 💙 for taking a part of him with you!

This is the message I received…
Drew went with us to the Sunbeam Hot Springs on the Salmon River in Stanley Idaho today.
There are several pool areas that are built with rocks and depending where you are, there are some pools that are really hot and others that are cold water at the bottom but hot on top which can be a perfect mix!

Hot Springs: ​Sunbeam Hot Springs has a source of over 160 degrees that comes from the hillside. The geothermal water cascades down in the Salmon River where volunteer builders make hot spring pools. ​The hot spring pools sit on the bank of the Salmon River below the highway. The temperature of the hot spring rock walled pools depend on the season and the flow of the river. Hot water mixes with the cold water. The water is 100 % natural. The geothermal pools are submerged during spring run off. Clothing is optional at your own risk. This hot springs get alot of foot traffic in the summer months. Bring your bathing suit.
The water coming out of the pipe in the picture is very hot!!!

A dear family member, Robin Davis takes Drew’s stones with her on her adventures and always shares photos with me. Makes me so happy when people let me know they are remembering my sweet boy and helping me create new memories in his honor!

I carry a stone in my backpack anytime I go somewhere. Sometimes I forget and he comes back home with me. ❤️ Drew is at Tionesta Lake with us camping this week.e would r

Just want to tell you all- really- I want to tell the WORLD- but they don’t all believe! I had multiple dreams last night with my Drew in them! The evening ended with my hubby and I turning off the TV and lights and we were standing at the base of the steps about to go up and hugged each other, and Drew did his thing with the TV -you know- the sign he sends us often from Heaven- making that loud sound and turning on for a blip. We smiled and said goodnight Drew-we love and miss you Baby!
Then, I wish I could remember all the dreams- but he came to me showing me the signs and love he was sending me in life. He was the age he was when he passed and he talked to me. I don’t remember it all, but after the first one, I woke up and just smiled. It was so real! Then went back to sleep and had another and another- he was different ages and I just remember all night waking up smiling and feeling very full that he was actually coming to me!! I have longed for the day to have him in my dreams!!! It was VERY beautiful and VERY needed! Just wanted to share the most precious Valentines gift ever with you all!! I know every parent has not had dream visits or may not even believe that there is communication yet from across the veil..... and that is ok! Our loved ones will choose when and how to communicate with us!! It’s surely a different relationship, but it’s there!! I hope anyone who is not aware of the signs and love their loved ones are sending them, can open up and accept them for what they are- and more will come!! And it feels so good! The love and fullness I feel- still now- after many hours is soooo BIG. Happy! Happy! 💙💙💙💙💙

I sent this to Greg and just said watching the sun and thinking about our son! Then came inside and am making my Moms birthday cake for tomorrow.
Then looked back out the window.. and saw this…. I feel like it’s clearly a heart from Drew- he knows a piece of my heart is missing but it’s still close- he’s still close!
What a message! Love you Drew!!!
