Eileen’s Free Bodega is an organization located in Brentwood, NY, that provides basic necessities such as food to anyone. I, Amanda, a co-founder, have relocated to Newark, NJ, for educational opportunities for a few months. Eileen’s Free Bodega stands with ALL oppressed people, including those who are detained at Delaney Hall. Delaney Hall is the largest detention center on the East Coast and affects New Yorkers and Long Islanders, as people from NYS are being detained there. Currently, 300 individuals are on a hunger strike inside the detention center. Their needs are listed below on the flyer. What is happening outside the detention center is important but should not overshadow the struggles of those who are on a hunger strike inside. Let's not forget the people who are on the inside on a hunger strike.
