CRAVE Community Meal Train for the Brown Family

Our CRAVE Community is coming together to support the Brown Family during a challenging time. Their daughter, Sophia, a senior at BHS who just turned 18, was born with Spina Bifida. She is about to undergo her 16th surgery, and this will be her biggest surgery yet — a major back reconstruction at Texas Children’s Hospital on January 5th. Sophia is expected to be in the hospital for 10–14 days.

Her parents will be taking turns staying with her, and her dad will continue working when he’s home, which leaves her two siblings (ages 15 and 13) at home. Preparing meals during this time will be a huge challenge, and that’s where we can step in.

This meal train is an opportunity for our community to lift some of the daily stress off the Brown Family and show them love and support while they focus on Sophia’s recovery. Every meal, big or small, will be a blessing.

💔 Urgent Help Needed 💔

An elderly member of our community is facing an unimaginable situation. She lost her husband and was notified upon arriving home from the hospital. Now she has no caretaker and no power at home. She needs a safe place to stay tonight and for the next few days, and we need to act immediately.

If you feel led to help, donations to support her hotel stay can be sent via CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, or dropped off at CRAVE Fitness during business hours. Message us for details.

Every bit helps. Together, we can give her comfort, support, and hope during this heartbreaking time. 💛

The CRAVE Community Christmas Program is dedicated to blessing local families who could use a little extra help this holiday season.

This year, we plan to sponsor 2–3 families with:
✨ Gifts for children
✨ Clothing for all family members
✨ A Christmas dinner basket

Depending on the donations we receive, we hope to extend our reach to even more families!

Families may self-nominate or be nominated by someone in the community. All nominations will be reviewed with care and confidentiality. Paper applications can be found at CRAVE Fitness during normal business hours. Please submit all nominations by November 15, 2025.

🚗❤️ CAR GIVEAWAY THANK YOU ❤️🚗

We want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this incredible blessing possible!

Because of your generosity, we were able to provide a reliable car to a single mom in need. 🙌 Not only were we able to purchase the car, but we also got a few repairs done at KT Auto Plus in Brenham (special thanks to Jon for donating his diagnostic fee 🙏), had it professionally detailed, covered six months of insurance, and even took care of the title transfer and registration!

Your kindness truly changed someone’s life. 💕 When life keeps knocking someone down, it’s amazing to see a community come together to lift them back up. You’ve shown that there is still so much good in this world.

💛 The Mangum family in Brenham is asking for prayers and support for their 11-year-old son, Stone, who’s been facing a long and difficult medical journey.

What began as sudden neurological symptoms has led to multiple hospital stays, ongoing tests, and now the discovery of a possible rare disorder, all while the family also deals with being displaced from their home due to toxic mold.

They’re doing everything they can to get answers and care for Stone, but the medical and housing costs have become overwhelming.
