The New World Screwworm is devastating. The damage is far from pretty. Every available effort is a vital importance to keep this away from the United States & livestock.
Warning - this video is truth, but not pretty.

Part 5
4th grade students from across the county spent the day recently at the Washington County fairgrounds during the annual Ag Day. Sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service & the Washington County Farm Bureau. There were 12 stations located across the entire fairgrounds. 4-H & FFA leaders of groups visited local presenters for: Corn, equine, farm safety, cotton, entomology, beef, swine, nature bingo, bees, vet science, poultry, lamb &goat. Each station provided hands-on learning for the students. A beef hotdog lunch was prepared by the Washington County Cattlewomen, with Blue Bell ice cream for dessert. This event has been held for decades in May in Washington County. WCFmb President Larry Winkelmann gives credit to the presenters who are happy to share knowledge. TxAgriLife Extension Stephanie Rudolph credits the continued success to great volunteers.

The event is so big will take several posts.
