Grateful for an amazing team at BMA! Had quite a surprise today when I got to the music school to teach my first student, Anna Bircher! Water was coming out of the front door. I looked at Anna and said “Hmm… this is not good!”
At 2:50 pm we opened the door and water started pouring out. A pipe had burst in the bathroom wall and must have been spraying water forcefully all night. Husband managed the insurance side of things while helping me not go crazy. Called plumber, friend and BMA parent, Ryan Stegent for help and advice, Anna began pushing water out the front with Mark assessing the situation and moving furniture out of building. Family and staff arrived within a few minutes to all pitch in- Joyce Brown, Ann Winston, Neil Amelang, Paul Amelang, Ginny Moore, Michael Brown, and City of Brenham to turn off water. Then Patrick with Colwell Chemmdry came to extract the water and with all the team work, all water was vacuumed, furniture was raleo out of building, stuff thrown away and then relocated to the dry parts of the building all by 7pm!!!!!!! All I can do is say God is a wonder working God for the miracle of work that got done so quickly!!! Thank you Father for helping us!!!! Thank you team and community for the emergency fast help!!! We are so grateful!!! Tomorrow we will see what the insurance adjuster says and plumber Ryan Stegent will repair the pipe situation. Thank you to everyone who had a part in helping us today!! We have an amazing community and I am so grateful for all the help today!!!! My sister just gave me a shirt for my birthday and I was wearing it for the flood! “It Is Well With My Soul!” Perfect shirt for today!
Feeling grateful!
